Titanium(IV) butoxide, polymer

Poly(tetrabutyl titanate) (CAS No. 9022-96-2) is a polymer of tetrabutyl titanate, commonly used as a precursor for the preparation of titanium dioxide nanoparticles, functional thin films, and titanium-based ceramic materials. It is also used as a crosslinking agent in coatings to improve adhesion and weather resistance; as a coupling agent in plastics and rubber to enhance the compatibility between inorganic fillers and organic matrices; and in the preparation of titanium-based catalyst supports.
